Dr. Madah, our esteemed practice principal, brings over 25 years of invaluable expertise in general medicine, with a particular focus on cardiovascular and chronic diseases. His illustrious medical journey includes extensive experience in intensive care garnered from renowned hospitals such as Prince Charles, Princess Alexandra, Greenslopes, Allamanda, and Pindara Private Hospitals.

A Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and holder of a Diploma of Emergency Medicine by RACGP, Dr. Madah is dedicated to the comprehensive care of his patients. He serves as a medical student supervisor at Griffith and Bond University, nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Additionally, Dr. Madah is certified by the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine and has successfully completed the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) as well as the Australian Medical Council (AMC) requirements. His commitment to enhancing critical care is evidenced by his completion of the Fundamental of Critical Care Support and Instructor course (FCCS) by the American Society of Critical Care Medicine.

Formerly a member of esteemed organizations such as the Royal Australian College of Physicians (RACP), the Australian and New Zealand College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM), and the American Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM), Dr. Madah’s expertise spans a diverse range of medical disciplines.

Meet Dr. Bashar Patrus (Dr. Pat), a compassionate and dedicated GP, accredited by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr. Pat’s medical journey began in Iraq, further honing his skills in Canada before bringing his expertise to Australia. His professional passion shines in diverse areas, including skin cancer medicine and surgery, where he skillfully handles biopsies, excisions, skin flaps, and grafts. Dr. Pat is also adept in managing chronic diseases like diabetes, kidney disease, COPD, and asthma, along with providing expert fracture care and emergency medicine services.

Beyond his medical pursuits, Dr. Pat cherishes time with his family and a small fluffy companion, keeping his mind sharp with challenges like Sudoku and Futoshiki. Dr. Pat embodies a blend of professional excellence and personal warmth, making him a trusted and skilled healthcare partner.

Meet Dr. Mohammad Javadi, an esteemed dermatology and skin cancer expert accredited by the Skin Cancer College Australasia. His expertise is grounded in an impressive array of qualifications, including a Fellowship in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery, advanced certificates in Dermoscopy, and practical Dermatology from renowned institutions.

Dr. Javadi also holds a Doctorate of Medicine, a Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and is a member of prestigious organizations like the International Dermoscopy Society. His role in the Melanoma and Skin Cancer Trials Group highlights his dedication to the field. Dr. Javadi’s extensive qualifications and memberships position him as an expert in treating a wide range of skin conditions, from benign lesions to advanced skin cancers.

Meet Mark, Commenced health care experience 35yrs ago when trained as a Registered Nurse at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, gained Cardiac Certification at Ashford Hospital and later completed a Bachelor degree in nursing from University of South Australia along with a degree in intensive care whilst working at St Andrew’s Hospital in the ICU. Whilst working at Pindara and Allamanda hospitals ICU he met and worked with Dr Madah. Gained a Graduate Certificate in critical care from University of Tasmania and trained in use of ECMO at Alfred Hospital in Victoria whilst working as a clinical nurse consultant (CNC) in the ICU at the Gold Coast University Hospital over the last decade. Has previously worked as a diabetic educator, renal dialysis nurse and medical equipment specialist so has an extensive knowledge base to cover many aspects of care for patients in the community. Currently enjoying working closely with and assisting the patients looked after by GCMC.
